The unit works really well - with both a/c and heat - and the costs to use it are very low. I only wish the cord was included - even though I understand there are different sizes that fit it - the cost should include a cord.

This PTAC is awesome it runs smoothly and quietly. Cools and heats a small upstairs apartment with out any problems. Replaced the same brand that was over 20 years old! Hope this one lasts as long!!

Bought 4 Units 15 months ago 3 fails w/same issues

I bought 4 units approximately 15 months ago and 3 of the units are having the same problem...the set temperature up/down control buttons are not reliably working and the displays are acting oddly...of course the problems began about a month after full (parts and labor) 1 year warranty ended and I now understand that I am likely responsible for the service labor (hundreds of dollars) for any such repairs that need to be made. These units replaced GE units that worked reliably for 9 years with no major issues. I am frustrated and disappointed that the new models lasted only 1 year before I am now facing costly repairs that appear to be a systemic issue...in short, I feel cheated.

I bought a 12 ton PTAC for my new house addition 4-season room. The only improvement I can suggest is to make the LED display permanent and brighter. It is hard to see on a sunny day.
